Keith Cox - Community leader, American success story, Keith Cox is the guiding force behind Cox Nissan, the only Nissan dealership in the Bronx, guided by two important personal principles:  being hands-on in his community as well as his business.

Happily married for seven years, with three daughters, Keith was born in St. Vincent, West Indies and came to the United States at the age of  14 graduating from Midwood High School in Brooklyn, followed by earning a B.A. at Brooklyn College.

Entering the automotive industry as a salesman, Keith worked his way up in the short space of 14 years to dealer principal of his own stores.

Keith Cox personifies the term "giving back to the community". Keith has been an avid supporter of The Bronx Charter School in participation of fundraisers and giveaways that benefit the children as well as acting as advisor to the board of directors of the school. In the summer of 2006, Keith was honored with a letter of recognition from Mayor Bloomberg which was presented by Ruth Hassell-Thompson, Senator, 36th District for his achievements and contributions to our community. Keith supports numerous neighborhood youth programs, including Y-Corp and the Morris Avenue Community Basketball League and local Little League teams, as well as community churches, including Bronx Bethany Church and Seventh Day Adventist Church. He also remains a steady participant in numerous public community forums. In his role as a successful businessman, Keith Cox has been named one of the Top 100 Auto Dealers in the Nation by Black Enterprise Magazine three years in a row and in 2005 and 2006 made Crain's List of New York's Largest Minority-Owned Businesses. He has also received numerous awards for outstanding sales and customer satisfaction from Nissan North America Corporation. Those awards comes as no surprise to the thousands of Cox Nissan customers who have come to expect the personal touch Keith brings to the running of his business.

Keith has opened two brand new facilities on Boston Road this past year that features not only Nissans but Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge products. Further growth both personally and professionally in this impressive ongoing American success story.
